Osaka University Social Robotics Group
Research isn't just about discovery, it's about sharing that knowledge with the world. As part of my research at Osaka University's Social Robotics and Intelligent Robotics Group, I have been actively involved in bringing robotics research to diverse public audiences through multiple outreach initiatives. Our aim is to communicate complex technical concepts to non-expert audiences, bridging the gap between laboratory research and real-world impact.
World Expo 2025 Future Life Pavilion: Contributed to the Future Life Village Pavillion at the 2025 World Expo, working on initiatives that showcased how multiple Cybernetic Avatars can lead to new kinds of human-robot conversations.
Kyoso Day (Osaka University's founding day) at LaLaport Expocity Mall, Osaka, Japan (2024, 2025): Set up and managed interactive robot demonstration booths where hundreds of visitors, from curious children to elderly citizens, interacted with robots like CommU, and Teleco, and explored conversational AI through playful demonstrations.
IEEE ARSO International Conference 2025: Served as conference staff for the 2025 IEEE International Conference on Advanced Robotics and Its Social Impacts held in Osaka. Contributed to the smooth operation of this international academic gathering, facilitating knowledge exchange among global robotics researchers while gaining exposure to cutting-edge developments in the field.
Social Robotics Lab Open Days: Hosted public demonstrations at Osaka University's open laboratory events, showcasing ongoing research projects.
