Author: Children's Books

Having always been interested in literature, I wrote "Adventures of Sally the Silly Robot", a debut children's book that bridges my work in social robotics with storytelling for children.

The story follows Sally, a small robot who comes to life in a scientist's workshop and befriends the scientist's lonely son, Pascal. When Pascal learns his father plans to sell Sally, he makes a heartbreaking choice, setting Sally free to discover where he truly belongs. Sally's journey through the town of Merryland brings encounters with Bob the street cat, Jane the mother duck, and Fiere the wise raven. Each teaches Sally valuable lessons about survival, unconditional love, sacrifice, and wisdom. Through these experiences, Sally discovers that home isn't a place, it's the people who love you just as you are.

Written for children aged 8-13, the book explores friendship across differences, finding one's identity, and learning that robots aren't something to fear. Drawing directly from my research with social robots and children, it carries a core message: meaningful connections can exist between anyone, whether be it human or machine.

The book achieved #2 bestseller status on Amazon and is available in Kindle and Paperback formats on Amazon's website across all countries.
